Master The Body Saw-Core Exercise! Huh?

Personal Trainers in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town - MASTER THE BODY SAW-CORE EXERCISE! HUH?

Looking to build core strength and stability? Our expert personal trainers sum up how best to do the body saw-core exercise. Also; saw-core means… exactly that! A sore core. But it’s also a moving version of the plank exercise.

  1. Put your toes on a set of gliders and then get into a forearm plank, elbows directly underneath your shoulders, arms parallel, with your legs extended behind you. Tuck your tailbone and engage your core, butt, and quads.
  2. Slowly push with your forearms and elbows to slide the gliders back toward the wall behind you. Move as far as you can without losing core engagement. Don’t let your hips sag. Slowly pull with your arms and elbows to return to the starting position.

“Your body will move back and forth, like a saw through a log of wood!” says Nicole, Bodyback’s head of mobile trainers.
