Weight management
Fitness instruction at home means a qualified at-home personal trainer arrives at your door and coaches you through the session in your own space. Form is corrected as it happens, load and pace are set for the body in front of them, and your fitness levels are monitored during the session rather than guessed at afterwards. Everything proper fitness instruction should be, from technique and progression to safe execution and correction in real time, happens in your living room, your garden or your garage instead of on a busy gym floor.
Body planning is the part that sets BodyBack apart. Most trainers work off one template and hand the same programme to everybody. We do not. Your trainer keeps checking in on your goals, records what you are actually achieving, and adjusts the plan as your body responds, so the training you do at home this month is not the training you did when you started. You can also request an online call with our in-house biokineticist, who joins you and your trainer to run an assessment and confirm that the plan is producing real progress.
Private personal training in your own space, on your own schedule, with a plan written around you.
The session that gets skipped is almost always the one that needed a drive, a parking bay and a gym bag. An at-home personal trainer removes every one of those excuses. Your trainer arrives at your home at the agreed time, which makes getting to your workout as easy as rolling out of bed and opening the front door.
Accountability is built into the arrangement. Someone is coming to your house, they know what you set out to achieve, and they will ask you how the week went. That standing appointment in your own home is a far stronger commitment than a gym membership you might use. Progress is tracked from session to session, so you always know whether you are moving forward, and your trainer holds you to the plan without turning it into a drill.
No commute, no crowds, no self-consciousness in front of strangers. Just private personal training with someone who expects you to show up in your own lounge.
Weight loss and toning is about changing your shape, not just the number on the scale. At home, your personal trainer combines fat reduction work with resistance training that firms and shapes the areas you want to change, slimming you down while building the muscle tone that gives the result its definition.
Because you have an at-home personal trainer rather than a gym timetable, the programme fits around your life, which is exactly what makes it sustainable long enough to work. Sessions are completely private: no mirrors full of strangers, no waiting for equipment, no feeling watched while you learn. For many clients that privacy at home is the difference between starting and never starting.
Your trainer tracks measurements against your body plan and lifts the intensity as you change, and will guide you on what to eat and what to avoid so that the training and the eating pull in the same direction. If you have been looking for a personal trainer near you, this is the version that comes to your door.
Losing weight is one job; keeping it off is a different one. Weight management is the ongoing phase, maintaining the result you worked for through consistent training at home and habits that survive holidays, deadlines and winter.
Your at-home personal trainer keeps coming to you on a rhythm that suits you, adjusting the plan as your weight settles and your training improves. Alongside the sessions, your trainer gives practical guidance on what to eat and what to leave out, and on the supplements worth considering for your goals. For anything more detailed our head office can advise further, and an online consultation with our in-house biokineticist can be arranged for you and your trainer.
The point of managing weight at home is that the habits are built where you actually live, in your kitchen, your lounge and your routine, so they hold when nobody is watching.
HIIT training
Cardio & fitness
Compound training
Flexibility & mobility
HIIT is short bursts of hard work separated by controlled recovery. It is the most time-efficient way to raise fitness and burn fat when your diary is tight. Done at home with a personal trainer standing over you, the intervals are actually timed, the intensity is actually reached and the recovery is actually enforced, which is where training alone usually falls apart.
The format suits an at-home personal trainer perfectly. Very little space is needed and very little equipment, and your trainer brings whatever the session calls for. A lounge, a patio or a driveway is enough. Sessions are scaled to your current fitness and adjusted as your conditioning improves, so a beginner and an experienced client get the same structure at different intensities.
Forty-five focused minutes at home, supervised, beats an hour of half effort anywhere else.
Cardiovascular training builds the engine (heart, lungs and stamina) and it underpins everything else you want your body to do. With an at-home personal trainer, cardio stops being an aimless half hour on a machine and becomes structured conditioning: intervals, steady work, circuits and outdoor sessions around your own neighbourhood, all paced to your current level.
Your trainer watches your effort and recovery during each session in your home and uses that as part of your body plan, so improvements in fitness are measured rather than assumed. Sessions are built around whatever you have access to: a garden, a complex, a quiet road, or your own equipment if you own it.
Better everyday fitness shows up outside training too: stairs, sport, chasing children, sleeping properly.
Compound movements work several muscle groups at the same time. Squats, presses, rows, hinges and lunges are the fastest route to real strength, better body composition and a stronger metabolism. They are also the movements most likely to be done badly without supervision.
Having an at-home personal trainer means every compound lift is coached: setup, bracing, range and tempo watched rep by rep, with weight added only when your technique earns it. That is not something a video can do for you, and it is the clearest argument for private personal training over training alone.
Compound work forms the backbone of most BodyBack body plans because it delivers the most in the least time, which matters when your training happens at home between everything else in your day.
Flexibility is how far a muscle will lengthen; mobility is how well a joint moves through its range under control. Desk work, driving and years of sitting quietly erode both, and most people only notice once something aches or gives way.
Mobility sessions with an at-home personal trainer are guided, hands-on and specific to where you are tight, usually hips, shoulders, upper back and hamstrings. Your trainer assesses your range in your own home, works on the restrictions that matter, and leaves you with the short daily routines that keep the gains, taught in the same room where you will do them.
Mobility work protects everything else in your plan: better range means better squats, fewer niggles and a body that still moves well in twenty years.
Functional training
Injury prevention & conditioning
Basic nutrition & wellness
Coaching & athletic prep
Functional training builds strength for the things you do outside of training: carrying shopping, lifting a child, moving furniture, getting off the floor, working in the garden. It trains movement patterns rather than isolated muscles.
There is a neat logic to using an at-home personal trainer for this. The environment your trainer works in is the environment you actually move in. Stairs, doorways, garden slopes and floor space all become part of the session, so the strength you build transfers straight into daily life instead of into a machine you will never sit in again.
Particularly valuable for older clients, for anyone returning to activity after a long break, and for anyone whose goal is simply to move confidently and without pain.
Most training injuries come from the same short list: doing too much too soon, moving badly under load, and ignoring an imbalance until it becomes a problem. An at-home personal trainer catches all three early, because they see every rep rather than the last set.
Conditioning work strengthens the supporting structures (core, glutes, shoulders, ankles and knees) and the loading is managed so your body adapts instead of breaking down. If you are coming back from an injury, or working around a long-standing one, private personal training at home means the plan is built around your limitations, with no pressure to keep up with anyone else.
Where a clinical eye is called for, our in-house biokineticist can join an online session with you and your trainer to assess the issue and shape the programme around it.
Training and eating have to agree with each other or neither works. Your at-home personal trainer gives practical, straightforward guidance on what to eat, what to cut back on, how to build meals around your goals, and which supplements are worth considering. No fads and no crash diets.
Getting that advice at home has an obvious advantage: the conversation happens in the place where the choices are actually made. Your trainer can talk you through realistic changes to what is already in your kitchen, rather than handing over a printed meal plan written for somebody else.
Wellness covers the rest of the picture (sleep, hydration, stress and recovery) because those decide how much of your training you actually absorb. For more detailed nutritional or supplement guidance, our head office can advise you further.
Athletic preparation is training with a date on it. Whether it is school trials, a club season, a race, a tournament or a fitness test, the programme works backwards from the event through phases of conditioning, strength, speed and taper.
Sessions run at your home, which means the athlete trains around school, work and team practice instead of choosing between them, and parents are not driving to a third venue in the same afternoon. Your at-home personal trainer builds the qualities the sport demands and watches the workload so that peak condition lands on the right week.
Sports coaching is available in selected areas, and an online assessment with our in-house biokineticist can be added when the goal warrants a closer look at movement and readiness.
Yoga, Pilates, boxing & biokinetics: specialist instructors at your home
Beyond standard personal training, BodyBack places specialist instructors in clients' homes: yoga, Pilates, boxing, sports massage and biokinetics. Each is delivered by a qualified specialist who comes to you, in the same private, one-on-one format as the rest of our training.
Yoga and Pilates at home suit anyone wanting strength, control and calm without a studio timetable. Boxing brings conditioning, coordination and a serious outlet for stress into your own garage or garden. Biokinetics at home is clinical exercise therapy delivered in your house, for rehabilitation, chronic conditions and managed recovery.
Availability is area-specific, so tell us where you are and we will confirm which specialists come to your home in your suburb.

No long-term gym-style contract, but a general PT contract must be signed before training begins.
Yes. Two-to-one and small group sessions at home cost less per person than one on one, and work well for couples, families and neighbours. We charge flat rates. The rates do not fluctuate if some people cannot attend a session.
No. Your trainer brings what the session needs and works with the space you have. A lounge, a patio, a garden, a garage or a complex clubhouse is enough. Your trainer may suggest you purchase certain items over time as training progresses.
Sessions are typically 45 minutes. Most clients train two or three times a week, and your trainer will recommend a rhythm based on your goals and your starting point. Once a week is not recommended. Results really show from two sessions a week or more.
Yes. Your trainer works around your schedule, which is one of the main reasons people choose an at-home personal trainer over a gym timetable.
Body planning is how BodyBack structures training around one person rather than a template. Your trainer sets goals with you at home, records where you are starting from, and reviews progress against that plan session by session, adjusting it as your body changes.
Yes to both. Tell us your preference when you book, and if the fit is not right we will match you with someone else.
Yes, and it is often the easiest place to start. Training privately at home means nobody is watching while you learn, and your trainer sets the first sessions at whatever level you are actually at.
Yes. We place trainers with older clients working on strength, balance and mobility, and with children and teenagers on age-appropriate training and school sport preparation.
